From The Bride:

Our wedding took place on December 31, 2022. We live in the US and have family and friends all over so we wanted to have an event to bring people together to celebrate our wedding, both of our cultures, celebrate the New Year, and show off India. We believe in a simple and elegant design aesthetic and that drove a lot of our vision. Mostly, we wanted our guests to have fun and to make our wedding a big party full of love and dancing.

Wedding Planning: Bowtie Hospitality

Abhishek and his team were fantastic. We had a majority of our guests flying in to Bangalore from the US who had never been to India before and the Bowtie team took such good care of them the whole wedding. Abhishek helped us set up other vendor calls and helped us run through all the details we needed to think about for each of the events. On the week of everything was seamless and effortless and the events went off so smoothly we didn't even have to think about them. The Bowtie team consistently went above-and-beyond to make sure everything for our wedding was perfect. We could not recommend the Bowtie team highly enough!

Venue: Tamarind Tree Bangalore

The Tamarind tree was the perfect venue for our wedding. It is a beautiful venue and we had to do very little to highlight the natural beauty. It also has so much space, and with many different areas we were able to hold our mehendi, sangeet, and wedding in different venues on the property. It was also the perfect size to host most of our out-of-town guests for the night. The staff at the Tamarind Tree were incredibly helpful, especially as we were communicating with them from abroad. They had everything we needed to pull off the event without a hitch.

Makeup Artist: Prafulla Kotary

Prafulla was great! I told her I wanted natural-looking makeup, nothing too heavy or dramatic and I think she did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. I was so pleased on the day, and it looks great in pictures as well. She was also so lovely and really listened to what I was saying as she was working with me.

Decor: With Love Nilma

Nilma was the first vendor we chose after scrolling through her decor on instagram. Her style is flawless and she executed our vision to perfection! Every detail was thought of and the decor throughout all the events was just classic and gorgeous. Her simple and elegant decor that she used at the Tamarind Tree for the ceremony was breathtaking.

Manvi and her team were fantastic to work with during our wedding and we could not be happier with how the photos turned out. We asked her to capture all the candid moments and she did exactly that while also highlighting all the elements we loved most about the venue, decor, and ceremony.
