The love story that blossomed amongst the singing hills
In an affair so simple but tastefully curated, Adil and Dinah said 'we do' in their unimitable style amongst their dear and near ones. Having had met in their higher studies days, their wedding photos reflect their love for nature, minimalism that reflects elegance and style so top notch! Oh Yes Events created an oasis of style and class in between the beautiful hills to provide the magical experience that the couple desired. Their attention to details is one for the books!
Meet Dinah and Adil
"We met at the college when I was pursuing my first masters degree and he was pursuing his first masters degree."
Their love story is a beautiful mosaic of two cultures: Adil, centered in the ancient city of Patna, although he lived most of his life abroad, and Dinah, with her cosmopolitan essence derived from the lively streets of Chennai. It was almost serendipity in play when their worlds came together and those warm, inquisitive eyes met Adil's. "What are your dreams, Adil? " She asked in a soft voice, a gentle caress reaching deep within his soul. It was only a simple question—a small yet profound one—and now, among other things, it marked the beginning of their journey from being strangers into life partners.
The inner hesitancy at first was fully there, but Adil was drawn by the calm aura that Dinah was exuding—her everlasting encouragement quietly chipping away the walls he had built to guard his heart.
During those conversations, which had matured up to November 15, 2023, there was a mutual understanding that they were ready to bind their lives together formally.
Sangeet : A Bollywood Serenade
Adil and Dinah, in their Sangeet, wanted to bring out Bollywood, keeping the aesthetics and spirit vibrant in an event where the rich cultural heritage from the silver screen in India came alive. Bringing brightness with mixed hues, the venue glittered with a lavish feel that remained secondary to the guests. The entrance to Adil and Dinah's Sangeet ceremony was nothing less than cinematic, with this gigantic Bollywood-themed arch decor to welcome guests into a sea of vibrant celebrations. Stepping right inside, they had an intricate mandala flex design on the floor of the stage, blending in with the heartiness of the entire evening.
The hanging lanterns glowed softly from the ceiling, spreading warm, inviting light over the whole venue. Some low-raised seating on the lawn offered a comfortable and intimate setup so guests could sit around, relax, and take in the evening. Classic centerpieces adorned the table settings with softly flickering candles to bring romance into the atmosphere.
Wedding : The Enchanted Garden
Loving whispers of love brushed the hills of Ooty with their soft touch, marking the beginning of this day. Adil and Dinah's wedding was set amidst the idyllic setting of Ayatana, where the couple seemed to conspire with nature to set the course for the beginning of an unfolding of a day of pure magic. Guests attending it were welcomed right away by a beautiful garden transformed into an enchanting wonderland. The soft pastels of the decor with delicate floral arrangements to complement them were the settings for ethereal celebrations colored with elegance. Flowers were set beside branches, vines, and greenery to add to the woodland feel. Thoughtfully placed pieces of vintage furniture enabled one to bring the taste of old-world charm into a setting of modern romance.
The aisle pathway, lined with florals, then led to the most intimate seating arrangement of cross-back wooden chairs, with additional tent seating providing the coziest of spots for guests to relax and take in the beauty around them. It was a sight to behold because each detail had been properly planned to create a moment etched in memory forever. Dinah and Adil pledged vows and promises, each word echoing with sincerity and love. They had a photo booth that captured the joy of the day, Live caricature artists captured, on paper, which would evoke cherished memories through years to come. And at one corner stood the memory tree, where guests penned down their blessings and wishes, adding leaves of love to the growing tree. Some of the other fun activities forming part of the festivity also included fingerprint activities, where everyone seemed to leave their colorful mark on the wedding, and polaroid guest books, which captured candid moments of laughter and joy.
Reception : The Starry Night
From the moment the guests arrived, they were enveloped in a dreamy atmosphere, as rich midnight blues, to shimmery hues combined to create a really celestial celebration.
Twinkling lights frolicked together with fairy lights wrapped across glistening fabrics to create an all-inclusive atmosphere—one that was at once very elegant and otherworldly. A moonlit backdrop, and celestial accents were all part of the décor in ensuring each and every corner of that space emanated this touch of magic.
The entertainment was as mesmerizing as the decor. A neon photo booth epitomized the party spirit of the evening, with each guest posing to capture moments. The DJ kept the tempo alive by continuously balancing soulful songs with upbeat dance numbers.

TThe resort was a relatively new one and it was the best for our wedding. It’s extremely modern, well-spaced and has one of the best hospitality I have witnessed in person.
