BY Priya | 09 Dec, 2024 | 203 views | 4 min read

Amidst the roaring success of the show that made her a household name, Made In Heaven, Sobhita Dhulipala was extensively interviewed and every time she was asked her secrret, she would unequivocally remind the interviewer and the public alike that she was a Telugu gal at heart through and through! For all bridal events, Sobhita shone in heritage jewellery- some modern takes on it and many passed down through her family.

Her wedding with Naga Chaitanya aka Chay Akkineni has been the talk of the town ever since both got hitched and gave us all those dreamy pink blossom coloured stunning images! The couple tied the knot at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. With around 400 guests in attendance, the star couple kept true to their desire for an intimate wedding affair.

If your life has been too busy reader and you are forgetting the timeline of these two love birds, don't you worry we got your covered. Read an article here on the relationship timeline of the stunners.

So let's get to it- breaking down each of her bridal looks.

Mangala Snaanam & Raata Sthaapana

Sobhita wore a beautiful and easy yellow saree with her jewellery making the statement for her Mangala Snaanam and Raata Sthaapana. The ceremony is meant to cleanse and bless the bride using sacred tatvas and the turmeric is an auspicious symbol of well being and prosperity.

The jewellery ensemble say a double tiered golden jhumka, a statement layer of heritage jewellery and gold bangles. All the jewellery she wore were a part of her mother's and grandmother's coffers. The arm bandh gave her a ethereal touch.

Pelli Kuthuru

For her Pelli Kuthuru look at her Vishakapatnam home, she chose a classic red Kanjeevaram saree with stone-ornated temple jewellery.

She wore a simple full sleeved round-neck blouse that set the traditional jadau choker set apart. Inlaid with rubies and emeralds, the neckpiece was complemented by her signature bajubandhs, jhumkas, gold bangles and gold golusu. The green bangle stack she wore was such a refreshing colour pop!

The creamy make up with almost nude lips and tradition bottu gave her a classic Telugu bride look. The look was all about the focus being on her gorgeous eyes.

Muhurtham

Heritage All The Way, Baby!

Sobhita wore a heritage kanjeevaram weave saree with dual metallic tones. While the upper part of the saree and the bodice of the blouse was classical golden, the lower pleats and the zari of the saree had ivory tint with beautiful motifs clearly visible.

A goddess in gold, the multi gold spledor of Sobhita's bridal beauty was matched by the striking off white kurta veshti pair that Chay was dressed in. To remember his grandfather on his big day, he was also donning the latter's panche with his ensemble.

Make Up: Eye-Focused and MLBB Lips

With a face as symmetrical and conventionally gorgeous as hers, Sobhita decided to lean heavily into the Telugu quintessential look of heavy eye make up highlighting the marital gleam in her eyes while keeping the lips creamy brown.

How can we forget to mention the cute 'dhrishti bottu' on her left cheek? Seeing just how stunning she looked, we are glad the evil eyes were thwarted.

Accessories- Heavy Set Heritage Temple Jewellery

Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding look was a beautiful homage to Indian heritage, especially with the traditional temple jewelry she chose to wear. With motifs inspired by temples, deities, and mythological figures, Sobhita’s bridal jewelry was a striking blend of gold craftsmanship and spiritual symbolism.

For her wedding, the actress wore a stunning set of temple jewelry that included elaborate necklaces, earrings, and headpieces. The pieces were made with fine gold and showcased detailed carvings of gods and goddesses, bringing a sense of timeless elegance to her bridal attire.

Part of the ensemble were the bridal thread of basikam, beautiful kamarbandh and arm pieces worn over the blouse, matthupatti to turn eyes complimented by jhumkis, and vanki.

The depth of the dark aalta was like a song of best wish to the couple's future together.
